Naft Masjed Soleyman F.C.
Naft Masjed Soleyman Football Club ( fa, باشگاه فوتبال نفت مسجدسلیمان, ''Bashgah-e Futbal-e Naft Masjed Soleyman'') (also named Naft M.I.S or Naft MIS) is an Iranian football club based in Masjed-Soleyman, Iran. They currently compete in the Persian Gulf Pro League as they were promoted at the end of 2017–18 season. Naft Masjed-Soleyman is owned by the NISOC. Behnam Mohammadi Stadium is the club's home stadium and underwent renovations in 2014 to meet Persian Gulf Pro League standards. History Establishment When oil was discovered in Masjed Soleyman, there was a rush of workers to the city. The Team was established in 1965 as F.C. Corona Masjed-Soleyman and was composed of Persian, British and Armenian engineers working for the National Iranian Oil Company. 2014–15 Persian Gulf Pro League
The 2014–15 Persian Gulf Pro League (formerly known as Iran Pro League) was the 32nd season of Iran's Football League and 14th as Persian Gulf Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Foolad were the defending champions. The season featured 13 teams from the 2013–14 Persian Gulf Cup and three new teams promoted from the 2013–14 Azadegan League: Padideh as champions, Naft Masjed Soleyman and Paykan. The 2018–19 Hazfi Cup was the 32nd season of the Iranian football knockout competition. The final played at the Foolad Arena in Ahvaz on 2 June 2019 between Damash Gilan and Persepolis which Persepolis won the match 1–0 and won its second double after 20 years. 2017–18 Hazfi Cup
The 2017–18 Hazfi Shield Cup was the 31st season of the Iranian football knockout competition. The competition begin in August 2017 and the final was played on May 3, 2018. Mehdi Sharifi, then center forward for Persian side Tractor SC was the Cup's top scorer with five goals. The Cup was won by Esteghla FC in a 1–0 victory over Khooneh Be Khooneh. The Finals only goal was scored by Mame Thiam, an Esteghlal forward in the 35' minute of the game. This was Esteghlal seventh Hazfi Cup title. The 2016–17 Hazfi Cup was the 30th season of the Iranian football knockout competition. Zob Ahan Isfahan, the defending champions, were eliminated by Tractor Sazi in the semi final in extra time. The competition started on 12 September 2016, and the final was played on 11 May 2017. Naft Tehran defeated Tractor Sazi at the final and earned their first title. The 2011–12 Hazfi Cup was the 25th season of the Iranian football knockout competition.
