Nafplia Province
Nafplia Province was one of the provinces of Greece, provinces of the Argolis Prefecture, Greece. Its territory corresponded with that of the current municipalities Nafplio and Epidaurus.  It was abolished in 2006. References

Provinces Of Greece
The provinces of Greece ( el, επαρχία, "eparchy") were sub-divisions of some the country's prefectures of Greece, prefectures. From 1887, the provinces were abolished as actual administrative units, but were retained for some state services, especially financial and educational services, as well as for electoral purposes. Before the Second World War, there were 139 provinces, and after the war, with the addition of the Dodecanese, Dodecanese Islands, their number grew to 147. According to the Article 7 of the Code of Prefectural Self-Government (Presidential Decree 30/1996), the provinces constituted a "particular administrative district" within the wider "administrative district" of the prefectures.
