Nadia Eke
Nadia Eke (born 11 January 1993, Accra) is a Ghanaian triple jumper. Education Eke graduated from Columbia University in 2015. Career In 2014, she finished tenth at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, won silver at the African Championships in Marrakech and was seventh at the IAAF Continental Cup. She also won bronze at the African Games in Brazzaville in 2015. In 2016, she became African champion during the 2016 African Athletics Championship. She qualified to represent Ghana at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the Women's triple jump event. The Meeting de Atletismo Madrid is an annual international athletics meeting that takes place at the Centro Deportivo Municipal Moratalaz in Madrid, Spain. Sulemanu Tetteh (born 18 August 1992) is a Ghanaian boxer. He competed in the Men's light flyweight division in the boxing at the 2012 Summer Olympics, losing in the first round to Jantony Ortíz of Puerto Rico. Commenting on the bout, he said, "I have experienced something from a champion". Earlier in 2012, he won the gold medal in the light flyweight division at the ECOWAS games. Akwasi Frimpong (born 11 February 1986) is a Dutch-Ghanaian sprinter, bobsledder, and skeleton athlete. Frimpong was raised in Ghana and later moved to the Netherlands. He is a former Dutch Junior Champion in the 200 meter sprints. To qualify for the Olympics, Frimpong decided to compete for his country Ghana in skeleton. Frimpong qualified for the 2018 Olympics in skeleton, earning the continental representation spot for the continent of Africa in skeleton. On February 29, 2020, Akwasi Frimpong became the first skeleton athlete from Africa to win an elite skeleton race sanctioned by the USA Bobsled and Skeleton Federation in Park City, Utah.
