Nneka Renacole Rice (born January 27, 1977) known professionally as Nacole Rice is an American R&B/Soul singer. Early life Nneka Renacole Rice was born on January 27, 1977 in Gallatin, Tennessee. Raised in a musical family, she would spend most of her early years singing in various church choirs at Key-Stewart United Methodist Church. As a teen, Nacole mastered the art of performing under the direction of her vocal coach Vera Warrick. Gallatin, Tennessee
Gallatin is a city in and the county seat of Sumner County, Tennessee. The population was 30,278 at the 2010 census and 44,431 at the 2020 census. Named for United States Secretary of the Treasury Albert Gallatin, the city was established on the Cumberland River and made the county seat of Sumner County in 1802. It is located about 30.6 miles northeast of the state capital of Nashville, Tennessee.
