Nabnasset is a village located in the northeastern portion of Westford, Massachusetts, between North Chelmsford, Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, Tyngsboro, Graniteville and Westford Center. The village is predominantly smaller homes near Nabnasset Lake, although there are no clear village boundaries. Here you can find much more affordable housing along with a strong neighborhood culture. Although the rumors, it is a relatively safe area with small amounts of crime. Coined "Vietnab" by the Westford Police Department for its steady stream of disturbances. The Nabnasset area of Westford MA is known of its schools of Nabnasset Grade School (''Old Nab'') and Nabnasset Elementary School (''Nab''). Westford is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was at 24,643 at the time of the 2020 Census. History Westford began as 'West Chelmsford', a village in the town of Chelmsford. The village of West Chelmsford grew large enough to sustain its own governance in 1729, and was officially incorporated as Westford that year on September 23. In the late 18th and early 19th centuries, Westford primarily produced granite, apples, and worsted yarn. The Abbot Worsted Company was said to be the first company in the nation to use camel hair for worsted yarns. Paul Revere's son attended Westford Academy and a bell cast by Revere graces its lobby today. A weather vane made by Paul Revere sits atop the Abbot Elementary school. North Chelmsford is an unincorporated village in the town of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States. Although North Chelmsford has its own zip code (01863), library, post office, fire station, water district, and local calling area, it is otherwise run by the same local town government and shares a school district with Chelmsford. North Chelmsford is smaller and more densely populated than neighboring Chelmsford. Tyngsboro, Massachusetts
Tyngsborough (also spelled Tyngsboro) is a town in northern Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. Tyngsborough is from Boston along the Route 3 corridor, and located on the New Hampshire state line. At the 2020 census, the town population was 12,380. By its location, the town serves as a suburb of neighboring cities such as Nashua, New Hampshire and Lowell, Massachusetts. History Tyngsborough was settled in 1661, as part of the massive Dunstable Township. The town of Dunstable, incorporated in 1673, was named after the hometown of pioneer Edward Tyng. However, a relative of his, and the source of the town of Tyngsborough's name, was Colonel Jonathan Tyng, whose home, the Tyng Mansion House, was one of the oldest north of Boston.
