Nabari No Ou
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuhki Kamatani. It was serialized in Square Enix's ''shōnen'' manga magazine ''Monthly GFantasy'' from May 2004 to August 2010, with its chapters collected in 14 ''tankōbon'' volumes. In North America, it was licensed for English release by Yen Press. A 26-episode anime television series by J.C.Staff was broadcast in Japan on TV Tokyo from April to September 2008. A fansub (short for fan-subtitled) is a version of a foreign film or foreign television program, typically anime or dorama which has been translated by fans (as opposed to an officially licensed translation done by paid professionals) and subtitled into a language usually other than that of the original. Process The practice of making fansubs is called fansubbing and is done by a fansubber. Fansubbers typically form groups to divide the work. The first distribution media of fansubbed material was VHS and Betamax tapes. Early fansubs were produced using analog video editing equipment. First, a copy of the original source material or raw was obtained, most commonly from a commercial laserdisc. VHS tapes or even a homemade recording could be used as well but would produce a lower quality finished product. TX Network (TXN) is a commercial television network in Japan owned by Nikkei, Inc. The "TX" is taken from the callsign of its flagship station, TV Tokyo. It is also known as TV Tokyo Network. ''Yen Plus'' was an American monthly anthology magazine of Japanese manga, Korean manhwa, and original English-language (OEL) manga published by Yen Press. History The first issue of ''Yen Plus'' went on sale on July 29, 2008, with five manga titles originally published by Gangan Comics, four manhwa titles, and two OEL manga titles. The magazine contained over 450 pages per issue. Manga titles were read from right-to-left, while manhwa and OEL manga titles read left-to-right; because of this, each issue had two covers.
