Naalaiya Theerpu
''Naalaiya Theerpu'' () is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar and produced by his wife Shoba Chandrasekhar which marked the debut of their son Vijay as a leading actor. The film which also starred Keerthana and Easwari Rao, with Srividya, Radha Ravi and Sarath Babu in supporting, had music composed by newcomer Manimekalai, cinematography by R. P. and editing by Gautham Raju. The story revolves around Arun Mehta, a businessman who has many extra-marital affairs, molests his wife, Mahalakshmi. However, things take an unexpected turn when she gets pregnant and has a son Vijay who later avenges against the deeds of his father. The film was released on 4 December 1992 to mostly negative reviews and became a box-office bomb, though Vijay won the Cinema Express Award for Best New Face Actor. Bharani is an Indian film score and soundtrack composer. He has predominantly scored music for Tamil films apart from working in Telugu and Kannada films . He has also sung few of his own compositions. Early life Bharani was born in a village near Tanjore and was the eldest son in a family of three brothers. Pulavar Pulamaipithan (6 October 1935 – 8 September 2021) was an Indian scholar, poet and lyricist who got recognition through the song "Naan yaar nee yaar" which was featured in the Tamil film ''Kudiyirundha Koyil'' in 1968. He briefly served as the presidium chairman of AIADMK from 2002 to 2003, when he resigned citing ill-health. Biography Pulamaipithan was born in Irugur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on 6 October 1935.
