Na D'Souza
Lanard Dsouza ( kn, ಲೇನಾರ್ಡ್; born 6 June 1937) is a novelist and writer in Kannada language living in Sagara, Karnataka, India. He was selected as the President of 80th Kannada Sahitya Sammelana held in Madikeri in the year 2014. Personal life Na D'Souza was born in Sagara, Karnataka on 6 June 1937. He completed his primary education at St. Joseph's higher primary school and higher studies at Sahyadri College, Shimoga. He worked in the Karnataka Public Works Department for 37 years. He is married to Philomena D' Souza and has 3 children - Shobha, Naveen and Santhosh. Na D'Souza has written more than 40 novels, many short stories, plays and literature for children and total number of his published books cross 94. He has received Central Sahitya Academy's Bala Sahitya Puraskar for his children novel ''Mulugadeya Oorige Bandavaru''. Sagara, Karnataka
Sagara is a city located in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is also a sub divisional and a taluk headquarters. Located in the Sahyadri Mountain range on the banks of river Varada, it is known for its proximity to Jog Falls and to the historical places of Ikkeri, Keladi and Varadamoola. The river Varada originates near Varada-moola. Sagara subdivision consists of Sagara, Soraba, Hosanagara and Shikaripur taluks. City Municipal Council Sagara city is one of the 74 Karnataka Municipal Reforms Project (KMRP) City in Karnataka. Shimoga
Shimoga, officially known as Shivamogga, is a city and the district headquarters of Shimoga district in the central part of the state of Karnataka, India. The city lies on the banks of the Tunga River. Being the gateway for the hilly region of the Western Ghats, the city is popularly nicknamed the "Gateway of Malnad". Kuvempu University is a public state university in Shankaraghattta, Bhadravathi taluk, Shivamogga, Karnataka, India. It was established in 1987 by the act of the Karnataka state legislature through amendment No. 28/1976 dated 29 January 1989 under the Karnataka State University Act 1976.
