''NRJ Music Awards 2010'' is a 2009 compilation album by NRJ. Every year the French music station publishes a compilation of the best songs of the year. This album contains 42 French and international songs that have enjoyed some success in France in 2009. Artists nominated for the ceremony of the NRJ Music Awards, NRJ Music Awards 2010 are also included in this compilation. A special edition is available with a DVD containing 24 music videos. Like every year, 0.15 euro per album sold is transferred to "Fondation Nrj Institut de France", created by Jean-Paul Baudecroux, which funds medical research in neuroscience. In France, the compilation debuted directly in first place of SNEP, French Compilations Albums Chart (List of French number-one hits of 2010, number-one album) on the issue date January 3, 2010. Jonathan Ivo Gilles Vandenbroeck (; born 14 July 1981), known professionally as Milow, is a Belgian singer-songwriter. Milow released his debut album, ''The Bigger Picture'', in 2006 on his own label Homerun Records. Gossip (or The Gossip) was an American indie rock band formed in Searcy, Arkansas, originally active from 1999 until 2016. For most of their career, the band consisted of singer Beth Ditto, multi-instrumentalist Brace Paine, and drummer Hannah Blilie. "Heavy Cross" is a song by American band Gossip. It was released on April 28, 2009, as the first single from the band's fourth album '' Music for Men''. The song was the first international hit for Gossip, reaching the top ten across Europe, with a massive commercial success in Germany.
