NRF League One
The NRF League One is a New Zealand amateur football league. The league is run by Northern Region Football, an amalgamation of the Auckland Football Federation and Northern Football Federation, and includes football clubs located in Northland and Auckland. It comprises half of the fifth tier of football in the northern North Island, alongside the WaiBOP Premiership. Up until 2022, the competition was known as NRF Championship. The fixtures are played generally from April to September. The league winners are promoted to the NRFL Northern Confernce. Until 2022 the second-place team entered a two-game playoff series with the champions of the WaiBOP Premiership (now WaiBOP League One), with the winner being promoted. Teams can be relegated from this division, however only one team representing each club can progress into this division and beyond. If teams do not meet the criteria to gain promotion to the NRF Championship, no teams are relegated from this division. The current ... NRFL Championship
The Northern Regional Football League Championship, currently known as Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Championship for sponsorship reasons, is a semi-professional New Zealand association football league competition. Up until 2022, the competition was known as NRFL Division 1. The league includes football clubs located in the northern part of the North Island, with clubs from the Northland, Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty provinces. The league sits at step 3 of the New Zealand football pyramid. Current clubs Waiheke United and North Shore United joined the league following their relegation the season prior from the Northern League. Ranui Swanson
Ranui Swanson Football Club is an amateur football club in West Auckland, New Zealand. They currently compete in the NRF Championship which is step 5 on the New Zealand football pyramid. Papakura is a southern suburb of Auckland, in northern New Zealand. It is located on the shores of the Pahurehure Inlet, approximately 32 kilometres south of the Auckland CBD. Papakura City FC is a New Zealand football (soccer) club based in Papakura, Auckland, New Zealand. The club currently competes in the AFF/NFF Conference. The club also fields teams in all junior divisions, as well as a Women's team that competes in the Lotto NRFL Women's Premier League. Papakura play their home games at McLennan Park, Papakura. Ken Maunder Park
Ken Maunder Park, previously known as Rewa Park is a reserve and sports ground in the suburb of New Lynn in Auckland, New Zealand. It is the home ground of Lynn-Avon United and the Suburbs Cricket Club. History The area south-east of Ken Maunder Park was traditionally known to Tāmaki Māori as Kotuitanga, and was an important point along Te Tōanga Waka, the Whau River portage, as this marked the point where the river was no longer navigable by canoe. In 1852, a farmer Henry Hayr had a cattle run on the land before, in 1854, he brought the original 84 acres from the Crown. New Lynn
New Lynn is a residential suburb in West Auckland, New Zealand, located 10 kilometres to the southwest of the Auckland city centre. Kiwitea Street
Kiwitea Street, also known as Freyberg Field, is a multi-purpose stadium in the suburb of Sandringham in Auckland, New Zealand. It is used for football (soccer) matches and is the home stadium of both Auckland City FC and Central United. Terraced seating can accommodate 250 patrons. The stadium is named for Bernard Freyberg, 1st Baron Freyberg. Kiwitea Street was the venue of the 2007 Chatham Cup final.
