NLT Productions was an Australian production company formed in 1961 which made a number of films and TV series. It was founded in 1961 by entertainer Bobby Limb, talent manager Jack Neary (OAM, OBE) (born; John Edwin Neary; 19 January 1916 – 6 April 2000) and Les Tinker. Bobby Limb
Robert "Bobby" Limb AO, OBE (10 November 1924 – 11 September 1999) was an Australian-born entertainment pioneer, comedian, band leader and musician and legend of radio, television and theatre of the 1960s and 1970s, he also founded the film and TV production company NLT Productions, with Jack Neary and Les Tinker. One of its main products was adventure serial '' The Rovers'', which was aimed at breaking the international market. Early days Bobby Limb was born in Adelaide, South Australia and entered a show business career beginning in 1941, at the age of 17, when he became a saxophone player with various dance bands around his home city of Adelaide. His bright personality soon made him a bandleader and comedian. The Rovers (TV Series)
''The Rovers'' was an Australian ocean-based family adventure television show originally screened from 21 August 1969 until 12 June 1970 and was broadcast on the 0-Ten network, the precursor of Network Ten Synopsis Produced by NLT Productions, executive producer was Bill Harmon and producer Don Cash, who would become famous for creating Number 96. The series starred Rowena Wallace, Edward Hepple, Noel Trevarthen and child actor Grant Seiden. Squeeze A Flower
''Squeeze a Flower'' is a 1970 Australian comedy film directed by Marc Daniels and starring Walter Chiari. Plot Brother George is the only monk at the Italian Monastery who knows the secret recipe of the popular liqueur that is the sole source of income for the monastery. When he feels their sole distributor, a local wine merchant, is not giving the monastery a fair price, he leaves and moves to Australia. There he works at a vineyard picking grapes and starts making the liqueur in his spare time. George then comes to the attention of the winery owner Alfredo Brazzi and the two agree to a partnership to make the liqueur. The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA), known as ScreenSound Australia from 1999 to 2004, is Australia's audiovisual archive, responsible for developing, preserving, maintaining, promoting and providing access to a national collection of film, television, sound, radio, video games, new media, and related documents and artefacts. The collection ranges from works created in the late nineteenth century when the recorded sound and film industries were in their infancy, to those made in the present day.
