NLEX Connector
NLEX Connector (North Luzon Expressway Connector), also known as the NLEX–SLEX Connector Road (North Luzon Expressway–South Luzon Expressway Connector), NLEX Connector Road, and NLEX Segment 11 during the planning stages, is a , four-lane elevated expressway in Metro Manila, Philippines. It connects the NLEX Harbor Link to the Metro Manila Skyway, which in turn connect to the North Luzon Expressway, North and South Luzon Expressways, respectively, while traversing parallel to the PNR Metro Commuter Line. The highway has five interchanges, four of which is currently operational. Alongside NLEX Harbor Link, trucks are allowed to use it. Construction began in 2019 and was partially opened in March 2023. Blumentritt Station (LRT)
Blumentritt station is an elevated Manila Light Rail Transit (LRT) station situated on Line 1. The station serves the districts of Tondo, Santa Cruz, and Sampaloc in Manila. The station itself is located near Blumentritt Road, which the station was named after. The street itself is named to honor Bohemian professor Ferdinand Blumentritt, one of José Rizal's closest associates and a sympathizer of the Propaganda Movement. With the ongoing construction of NLEX Connector (previously known as NLEX-SLEX Connector Road, the station was built below the elevated expressway. Blumentritt station serves as the seventh station for Line 1 trains headed to Baclaran, the fourteenth station for trains headed to Roosevelt, and is one of the five Line 1 stations serving Santa Cruz District, the others being Tayuman, Bambang, Doroteo Jose, and Carriedo. Radial Road 10
Radial Road 10, more commonly referred to as R-10, is a planned network of roads and bridges that all together would form the tenth radial road of Manila in the Philippines. It is the westernmost of the radial roads north of the Pasig River running north–south close to the shoreline of Manila Bay. When completed, the road would link the City of Manila with Navotas, and the northern coastal provinces of Bulacan, Pampanga, and Bataan in Central Luzon. At present, only the Manila–Navotas segment of the road is complete. Radial Road 9, more commonly referred to as R-9, is a network of roads and bridges that all together form the ninth radial road of Manila in the Philippines. It is the westernmost of the radial roads north of the Pasig River that actually lead to the provinces.
