NK Karlovac 1919 is a Croatian football club based in the town of Karlovac. Karlovac plays their home matches at Stadion Branko Čavlović-Čavlek. History Traditionally lower-level minnows, the club's most successful period in the Yugoslav football league system was in the 1970s when they competed in the Yugoslav Second League. After the breakup of Yugoslavia and the formation of the Croatian football league system in 1992 Karlovac spent most of the time playing in Druga HNL and Treća HNL, second and third levels. Led by manager Igor Pamić, Karlovac won consecutive promotions in the 2007–08 and 2008–09 seasons, which saw them join the top level for the first time in their history. After a sixth-place finish in debut season in 1. HNL and equally good second season, financial troubles during 2011–12 season hit Karlovac hard. Stadion Branko Čavlović-Čavlek is a football stadium in Karlovac, Croatia. It serves as home stadium for the NK Karlovac 1919 football club. The stadium was built in 1975 and has a capacity of 12,000 seats. The Hrvatski nogometni kup ( eng, Croatian football cup), also colloquially known as Rabuzinovo sunce (), is an annually held football tournament for Croatian football clubs and is the second most important competition in Croatian football after the HNL championship. It is governed by the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) and usually runs from late August to late May. Cup winners automatically qualify for next season's UEFA Europa Conference League, except when cup winners are also Prva HNL champions, in which case their berth in the Europa Conference League goes to the best placed team in the Prva HNL who haven't qualified for the UEFA competitions through their league performance. Karlo Primorac
Karlo Primorac (born 1 June 1984 in Osijek) is a Croatian footballer who plays as a forward. Club career A product of Osijek academy, Primorac joined their first team squad in the 2003–04 season and appeared in 17 matches for the club in his first top-flight season. He went on to establish himself as a regular member of Osijek's starting eleven and he appeared in a total of 136 Prva HNL matches and scored 25 goals before being released from the club in January 2010. He was then picked up by Dinamo Zagreb almost immediately, and he signed for the Blues on a free transfer in February 2010. Primorac also played with NK Karlovac and NK Istra 1961. In 2013, Primorac signed a contract with Sime Darby F.C., then a Malaysia Premier League club. Zvonko Pamić
Zvonko Pamić (born 4 February 1991) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Karlovac. Club career Early career Pamić began his career with NK Žminj where he earned his first professional caps in the 2007–08 season. Together with his brother Alen Pamić and cousin Sandi Križman, they signed for Rijeka in January 2008. They were then sent on loan to Karlovac for the remainder of the season, where their father Igor Pamić was coach at the time. Although his brother and cousin would return to Rijeka for the 2008–09 season, Zvonko spent the next two seasons playing a significant role for Karlovac before leaving for Germany, having never made an official appearance for the Bijeli.
