NHIAA Football
The NHIAA (New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association) is the governing body for competitions among all public and some private high schools in the state of New Hampshire. There are currently 57 schools (with five combining as one team) that have participating football programs throughout the state. Division memberships The NHIAA divided football into as few as three, but as many as six divisions between 1992 and 2017. There are four divisions in the state starting with the 2018 season. The New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association (NHIAA) is the governing body for sports competitions among all public and some private high schools in New Hampshire. It is a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations. Classifications Schools competing under the NHIAA are grouped into four divisions: * Division I: over 900 students * Division II: 550-899 students * Division III: 286-524 students * Division IV: up to 285 students Schools are reclassified every two years. The classification thresholds are periodically adjusted so as to result in an approximately equal number of teams in each class. Schools may petition the NHIAA to play in a class higher than that in which they would otherwise be placed. For some sports (e.g. football or ice hockey), competition is not organized based on school class, but based on divisions established by the NHIAA committee governing the individual sport. Salem High School (New Hampshire)
Salem High School is a public high school located in Salem, New Hampshire, United States. As of 2011, approximately 1,600 students were enrolled. The high school is a comprehensive school, housing both Traditional education, traditional and Career and technical education, vocational learning opportunities. Kennett High School (New Hampshire)
Kennett High School is a high school in North Conway, New Hampshire, near the village of Redstone. The present school building opened in 2007, replacing the former A. Crosby Kennett High School (built in 1923) located at 176 Main Street in Conway, which is now a middle school. Kennett High School serves the towns of Conway, Albany, Bartlett, Eaton, Freedom, Hart's Location, Jackson, Madison, and Tamworth. Education Kennett has several departments, including English, Mathematics, Foreign Languages, Science, and Arts. Winnacunnet High School
Winnacunnet High School is an American public high school in Hampton, New Hampshire. It serves students in grades 9 through 12 who live in Hampton, Seabrook, North Hampton, South Hampton, and Hampton Falls. Students from South Hampton attend either Amesbury High School or Winnacunnet High School. ''Winnacunnet'' is a Native American word that means "beautiful place in the pines." Oyster River High School (ORHS), part of the Oyster River Cooperative School District (ORCSD), is a public high school located in Durham, New Hampshire, United States, with an enrollment of nearly 800 students.
