The NFL Top 100 Players of 2020 is the tenth season in the NFL Top 100 series. It premiered on July 26, 2020 and the final episode aired on July 29, 2020. It started later than in previous years, and the show was shown in 4 consecutive days instead. Baltimore Ravens quarterback and reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson was voted number 1. The New Orleans Saints had the most selections with 7, while the Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions, and Washington Football Team had no selections. Atlanta Falcons running back Todd Gurley had the biggest drop, dropping 46 spots. Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry had the biggest increase in position jumping 89 spots. Derrick Lamar Henry Jr. (born January 4, 1994) is an American football running back for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). His imposing rushing game and larger stature than the average running back earned him the nickname "King Henry". Born and raised in Yulee, Florida, Henry set the national high school football record for career rushing yards with the Yulee Hornets. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach.
