The Purge
''The Purge'' is an American anthology media franchise centered on a series of dystopian action horror films distributed by Universal Pictures and produced by Blumhouse Productions and Platinum Dunes, which are written and in some cases also directed by James DeMonaco, who was inspired by a ''Star Trek: The Original Series'' episode, "The Return of the Archons". The films present a seemingly normal, crime-free America in the near-future. However, the country is a dystopia which observes an annual event known as "the Purge", in which all crime, including murder, is decriminalized for a 12-hour period. The franchise began in 2013 with ''The Purge'', directed by creator DeMonaco, who also directed two of the sequels and wrote the screenplays for all films in the series. No Fun at All (often abbreviated to just NFAA) is a Swedish punk rock band. History The band formed in the summer of 1991 in Skinnskatteberg. The group initially consisted of Mikael Danielsson (guitar), Jimmie Olsson (vocals, drums) and Henrik Sunvisson (bass guitar). The name was inspired by a tongue-in-cheek version of The Stooges' song " No Fun" as covered by the Sex Pistols, and the name of the band Sick of It All. The group released their albums on the Swedish label Burning Heart Records outside the United States. Within the U.S., No Fun at All's albums were released by Theologian Records with the exception of Out Of Bounds which was released by Revelation Records. Epitaph Records released a compilation album known as Master Celebrations in the US in 2002, making it their only release directly on Epitaph despite Burning Heart’s close association with them. Nuclear-Free Future Award
Since 1998 the Nuclear-Free Future Award (NFFA) is an award given to anti-nuclear activists, organizations and communities. The award is intended to promote opposition to uranium mining, nuclear weapons and nuclear power. The NFFA is a project of the Franz Moll Foundation for the Coming Generations and gives out awards in three categories: Resistance ($10,000 prize), Education ($10,000 prize) and Solutions ($10,000 prize). Additional optional categories are Lifetime Achievement and Special Recognition (contemporary work of art). The award ceremonies take place all around the world. The NFFA is financed by donations, charity events, and benefit auctions.
