Nez (singer)
Nezihe Kalkan (born April 15, 1979), better known as Nez, is a Turkish singer and dancer known for her modern-oriental hybrid dancing style combined with techno-inspired pop music. She spent a long time in the UK for education and after returning to her home country in early 2000s, she started performing regularly in a renowned jazz club in Istanbul with a unique show. Heavy Stereo
Heavy Stereo were an English alternative rock band, who were active from 1993 to 1999. There were known for their 1970s glam rock styled sound, and their sole album, ''Déjà Voodoo''. They were also on the same record label and opened for Oasis, which Heavy Stereo's frontman Gem Archer later joined. Career Heavy Stereo was fronted by lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, songwriter and producer Gem Archer, later of Oasis. They were heavily influenced by 1970s glam rock, including Gary Glitter, The New York Dolls, and Sweet. They released their debut and only album, ''Deja Voodoo'', in 1996. Heavy Stereo also produced a cover of The Jam's song The Gift, for the tribute album Fire & Skill. Nez & Rio are an American record production team from Chicago, Illinois, composed of Nesbitt Wesonga Jr. and Mario Loving. They are perhaps best known for producing Schoolboy Q's 2014 single " Man of the Year," as well as ASAP Rocky's 2015 single " Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2". Throughout their career, they have worked with artists such as Schoolboy Q, ASAP Rocky, Vic Mensa, Arin Ray, Tinashe, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul and Chance the Rapper, as well as others from their hometown Treated Crew. Grace Henderson Nez
Grace Henderson Nez (May 10, 1913 – July 14, 2006) was a Navajo weaver, known for her traditional designs. Her main styles were old designs from the 19th century and Ganado style. Some of her work was demonstrated at the Hubbell Trading Post, which is home to an archive of works from various Navajo weavers. Before her death in 2006, she was able to win two lifetime achievement awards for her work, including a National Heritage Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. Jonathan Nez (born May 26, 1975) is the 9th and current President of the Navajo Nation. He was elected in the 2018 election after having served as Vice President from 2015 to 2019. Earlier in his career, Jonathan Nez served as a council delegate representing Tsah Bii Kin, Navajo Mountain, Shonto, & Oljato Chapters. The Nez Cassé series of locomotives is a large family of electric and diesel locomotives intended primarily for fast passenger service on the French SNCF railway system. Produced by Alsthom for use under multiple electrification networks and un-electrified lines, they have been in widespread use from 1976 into the 21st century. Classes produced in the main series were BB 7200/7600 and CC 6500 under 1.5 kV DC, BB15000 under 25 kV 50 Hz AC, BB 22200 (7200+15000) and CC 21000 under dual 1.5 kV DC and 25 kV 50 Hz AC, and the diesel CC 72000/72100.
