Near Earth Network
The Near Earth Network (NEN, formerly GN or Ground Network) provides orbital communications support for near-Earth orbiting customer platforms via various ground stations, operated by NASA and other space agencies. It uses a number of different dishes scattered around the globe. The antennas must be able to move fast for tracking of objects in low Earth orbit (LEO). The NEN and SN combined were previously referred to as the Spaceflight Tracking and Data Network (STDN). NEN (TV Station)
NEN is an Australian television station licensed to, and serving northern New South Wales. History NEN9 Tamworth/Upper Namoi commenced transmissions on 10 April 1965, with a relay in Armidale (NEN1, later NEN10) on 15 July 1966. ECN8 Taree/Manning River began on 27 May 1966. By the mid 80's, prior to aggregation, the station was broadcasting to Tamworth on VHF 10, VHF9 from Mt Dowe (Kaputar) and VHF8 from Middle Brother Mountain. They had translators at Armidale VHF10, Ashford VHF10, Glenn Innes VHF3, Gloucester VHF11, Inverell VHF10, Quirindi VHF10, Tamworth VHF0, Walcha VHF1, Laurieton UHF47, Lightning Ridge UHF69. During 1968–69, ECN8 who at the time were facing financial difficulties approached NBN3 Newcastle to take the station over but the proposal was rejected by the Australian Broadcasting Control Board. NEN (National Entrepreneurship Network)
National Entrepreneurship Network or NEN is a community dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship. Services focus on providing institutional capacity building, entrepreneur support, entrepreneurial eco-system and national platforms. Based on an idea by Romesh Wadhwani, and co-founded with Sunita Singh, Nilima Rovshen, and Laura Parkin, the goal of the community is to enable new and future entrepreneurs to access events and resources, share ideas and content, organize and market activities, and forge relationships across India and the world. Dick Nen
Richard Leroy Nen (born September 24, 1939) is an American former professional baseball player. A first baseman, Nen appeared in 367 games in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Dodgers (), Washington Senators (–, ) and Chicago Cubs (). He threw and batted left-handed, stood tall and weighed . He is the father of former major league relief pitcher Robb Nen. Career Nen was born in South Gate, California, graduated from Phineas Banning High School, and attended Los Angeles Harbor College and California State University, Long Beach. The Dodgers signed him in 1961, and Nen's first season in the Class C California League was highly productive, with a league-leading 32 home runs and 144 runs batted in, along with a .351 batting average. Nicolas Le Nen
Nicolas Le Nen is a French Army officer. Since 2007, he has commanded the 27ème bataillon de chasseurs alpins, and heads the Groupement tactique interarmes de Kapisa. Biography Le Nen joined Saint-Cyr in 1986, and chose Infantry after graduation. After a year at the École d'application de l'infanterie, he joined the 27ème bataillon de chasseurs alpins in Annecy, and later in Perpignan as a unit commander. Rising to lieutenant-colonel, he served at the Army headquarter under General Yves Crene from 1999 to 2002, under general Bernard Thorette from 2002 to 2006, and under general Bruno Cuche from 2006 to 2007 On 31 August 2007, Le Nen was promoted to colonel and took command of the 27 BCA, for two years. Robb Nen
Robb Allen Nen (born November 28, 1969) is a former Major League Baseball right-handed relief pitcher. He spent most of his career as a closer. He is the son of former major league first baseman Dick Nen. He currently works in the Giants' front office as a special assistant to General Manager Farhan Zaidi. Nen pitched for the Florida Marlins (1993–97); in 1997, Nen won the World Series championship with the Marlins. He also played with the San Francisco Giants (1998–2002), with whom he was a three-time All-Star and played in the 2002 World Series, and the Texas Rangers (1993). Nen Sothearoth ( km, នេន សុធារ័ត្ន; born 24 December 1995) is a Cambodian footballer who plays as a full back or centre back for Nagaworld. International career Junior teams Nen Sothearoth played for Cambodia's under 21 team at the 2012 Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy, making his debut in a 2–1 loss to Vietnam. Nen (or Nen Zi, Nenium, Wekamara) is a Yam language spoken in the Bimadbn village in the Western Province of Papua New Guinea, with 250 speakers as of a 2002 SIL survey. It is situated between the speech communities of Nambu and Idi. Nen has unusual lexicalization patterns in its verbs. Nen River
The Nen River or Nenjiang (), or Nonni () is a river in Northeast China. The Nen River flows through the northern part of Heilongjiang Province and the northeastern section of Inner Mongolia, some parts of the river forming the border between the two regions. At in length, the Nen River is the longest tributary of the Songhua River. The Nen River flows in the general southern direction in a wide valley between the Greater Khingan and the Lesser Khingan mountain ranges in the west and east, respectively, and meets the Second Songhua River near Da'an to form the Songhua River. The river is prone to flooding, as occurred most recently in 1998 and 2005.
