NDTV Arabia
NDTV Arabia was a premier English language news channel that was owned by New Delhi Television Ltd. NDTV Arabia was the localized version of NDTV 24x7. It won the Asian Television Award for ''Best News Channel'' in 2005. The channel has ceased operations since the middle of June 2009 due to financial crisis. NDTV Arabia targeted the Indian expatriates living in the Middle East and broadcast most of the programs from its sister channel NDTV 24x7. However there were differences in the schedule. New Delhi Television Ltd is an Indian news media company focusing on broadcast and digital news publication. The company is considered to be a legacy brand that pioneered independent news broadcasting in India, and is credited for launching the first 24x7 news channel and the first lifestyle channel in the country. It owns and operates the broadcast news channels of NDTV India and NDTV 24x7. The two channels of the company have received 32 Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards. NDTV was founded in 1984, by economist Prannoy Roy and journalist Radhika Roy, a husband and wife duo from the city of Kolkata. NDTV India (styled as NDTV इंडिया) is a Hindi news channel in India owned by New Delhi Television Limited. In June 2016, NDTV decided to launch two separate channels called NDTV India and NDTV Spice in the United Kingdom. History NDTV was the brainchild of its chairman, Prannoy Roy, and his wife and managing director, Radhika Roy. In 1988, NDTV produced the news and current affairs show ''The World This Week'' for Doordarshan. The show proved to be popular and NDTV established its image as a private news producer. NDTV Profit is an Indian business and financial news television channel started by NDTV in January 2005. It has many journalists covering the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE). It also covers the latest business deals and acts as a platform for companies to give their public results, with growth rate, net profit and others. On 14 December 2006, BSE installed one of the largest video screens in India at the BSE building to disseminate capital market information, supported by NDTV Profit. Leadership Awards The NDTV Profit Business Leadership Awards were started by NDTV Profit in July 2006. English Language

Asian Television Awards
The Asian Television Awards (launched in 1996), is an appreciation to recognize and reward programming and production excellence in the Asian television industry. Held every December, the Awards comprises 56 categories across news, documentaries & current affairs, kids and animation, entertainment, drama, technical, digital as well as performances including acting and directing. The Awards draw about 1,400 entries each year from a wide range of broadcasters, including free-to-air TV stations, pay-TV platforms, OTT platforms as well as many independent production houses in Asia.
