Non Delivery Report
A bounce message or just "bounce" is an automated message from an email system, informing the sender of a previous message that the message has not been delivered (or some other delivery problem occurred). The original message is said to have "bounced". This feedback may be immediate (some of the causes described here) or, if the sending system can retry, may arrive days later after these retries end. More formal terms for bounce message include "Non-Delivery Report" or "Non-Delivery Receipt" (NDR), ailed"Delivery Status Notification" (DSN) message, or a "Non-Delivery Notification" (NDN). Classification Although the SMTP is a mature technology, counting more than thirty years, the architecture is increasingly strained by both normal and unsolicited load. The email systems have been enhanced with reputation systems tied to the actual sender of the email, with the idea of recipient's email servers rejecting email when a forged sender is used in the protocol. Therefore, two types ...

Negative Differential Resistance
In electronics, negative resistance (NR) is a property of some electrical circuits and devices in which an increase in voltage across the device's terminals results in a decrease in electric current through it. This is in contrast to an ordinary resistor in which an increase of applied voltage causes a proportional increase in current due to Ohm's law, resulting in a positive resistance. While a positive resistance consumes power from current passing through it, a negative resistance produces power. Under certain conditions it can increase the power of an electrical signal, amplifying it. Negative resistance is an uncommon property which occurs in a few nonlinear electronic components. In a nonlinear device, two types of resistance can be defined: 'static' or 'absolute resistance', the ratio of voltage to current v / i, and ''differential resistance'', the ratio of a change in voltage to the resulting change in current \Delta v/\Delta i. The term negative resistance means ...

Naming And Design Rules
{{Short description, Formal rules in metadata In metadata, Naming and Design Rules are the formal rules associated with how data elements are structured within a process of creating exchange documents between organizations. Naming and Design Rules are a set of guidelines and naming conventions that go beyond what a single data exchange standard specification will permit. The most common standard that Naming and Design Rules are created on is XML Schema. For example, the use of upper camel case data element names is a convention used in many standard but is not specified by the XML Schema specification. Naming and Design Rules have become an important aspect of each organizations data exchange standards. Within the United States, Naming and Design Rules standards are recommended for each federal and state agency. Neighborhood Deformation Retract
In topology, a branch of mathematics, a retraction is a continuous mapping from a topological space into a subspace that preserves the position of all points in that subspace. The subspace is then called a retract of the original space. A deformation retraction is a mapping that captures the idea of ''continuously shrinking'' a space into a subspace. An absolute neighborhood retract (ANR) is a particularly well-behaved type of topological space. For example, every topological manifold is an ANR. Every ANR has the homotopy type of a very simple topological space, a CW complex. Definitions Retract Let ''X'' be a topological space and ''A'' a subspace of ''X''. Then a continuous map :r\colon X \to A is a retraction if the restriction of ''r'' to ''A'' is the identity map on ''A''; that is, r(a) = a for all ''a'' in ''A''. Equivalently, denoting by :\iota\colon A \hookrightarrow X the inclusion, a retraction is a continuous map ''r'' such that :r \circ \iota = \operatorname_A, ...

National Data Repository
A National Data Repository (NDR) is a data bank that seeks to preserve and promote a country's natural resources data, particularly data related to the petroleum exploration and production (E&P) sector. A National Data Repository is normally established by an entity that governs, controls and supports the exchange, capture, transference and distribution of E&P information, with the final target to provide the State with the tools and information to assure the growth, govern-ability, control, independence and sovereignty of the industry. The two fundamental reasons for a country to establish an NDR are to preserve data generated inside the country by the industry, and to promote investments in the country by utilizing data to reduce the exploration, production, and transportation business risks. Countries take different approaches towards preserving and promoting their natural resources data. The approach varies according to a country's natural resources policies, level of openness ...

Nador International Airport
Nador International Airport ( ber, Anafag en Ennaḍor Aɛarwi, italic=yes; ar, مطار الناظور العروي), , is an international airport serving Nador, A paid car-park area is directly outside terminal, mainly used to bring passengers or pick up arriving passengers. The roads between the airport and Nador city are in good condition and signposted in Arabic and French. The airport lies directly along the main national route N2 (from Tangier to Oujda). From the airport the route to the city uses this N2 in Easterly direction to the North going route N15 to the city. Traffic statistics Like other Moroccan airports the traffic is very seasonal. All through the year Royal Air Maroc (in codeshare with Atlas Blue) flies several times per week to Brussels and Amsterdam, but in the summer-season more flights are scheduled. In the peak-season RAM even uses their Boeing 747 Jumbo-jet every week on the route to/from Amsterdam and Brussels instead of the smaller Boeing 737 the ...

National Driver Register
The National Driver Register (NDR) is a computerized database of information about United States drivers who have had their driver's licenses revoked or suspended, or who have been convicted of serious traffic violations, such as driving under the influence or drugs or alcohol. (see 23 Code of Federal Regulations 1327 Appendix A for a complete list of violations). The records are added and maintained and deleted by the motor vehicle agency (MVA) of the state that convicted the driver or withdrew the driver's license. Checks for problem drivers When a person applies for a driver's license, either as a new applicant or as a renewing applicant in a participating state, the state MVA must check if the name is on the NDR's Problem Driver Pointer System (PDPS) (as required by federal regulation—see 23 CFR 1327.5(b)(1)). If a person has been reported to the NDR by any state as a "problem driver", the prospective licensing state must investigate the driver's history from the state tha ...

Singapore National Day Rally
The National Day Rally ( ms, Rapat Umum Hari Kebangsaan; ; ta, தேசிய தின பேரணி) is an annual message delivered by the prime minister of Singapore to the entire nation, on the first or second Sunday after the National Day on 9 August. A yearly event since 1966, the prime minister uses the rally to address the nation on its key challenges, as well as to announce the country's major policy changes, the economy, future plans and achievements. History The rally began in 1966 as a "private meeting" between the prime minister and grassroots leaders. The transcript was released to the media only two weeks later. Only in 1971 did Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew decide "at the last minute" to televise the speech, which has since been annually broadcast live. The first rally in 1966 was held on the eve of National Day. Since 1967, the rally has been held at least a week after National Day. The rally was delivered at the former National Theatre between 1966 and 1983 ...
