NCL Division Three
The NCL or National Conference League Division Three (known as the Kingstone Press NCL Division Three). The top 3 teams gain promotion to NCL Division Two. The bottom three sides have to renew their members any new members have to be elected to the league. National Conference League
The National Conference League (known as the Kingstone Press National Conference League for sponsorship reasons) is the top English amateur rugby league competition in the Rugby Football League pyramid, and as such is the leading amateur rugby league competition in England. Since 2012, the National Conference operates over a summer season in line with the professional game. History The league was founded as the BARLA National League for the 1986–87 season with 10 teams: Dudley Hill, Egremont Rangers, Heworth, Leigh Miners Welfare (now Leigh Miners Rangers), Milford Marlins, Millom, Pilkington Recs, West Hull, Wigan St Patrick's and Woolston Rovers. The original NCL concept was one team per town. Bramley Buffaloes
Bramley Buffaloes RLFC is a rugby league club from the Bramley area of West Leeds in West Yorkshire, England. History At the end of the 1999 season Bramley RLFC resigned from the Northern Ford Premiership to become a feeder team for Leeds, but this never materialised. Bramley applied to rejoin the Northern Ford Premiership in 2000 but were rejected whilst a similar bid from Gateshead Thunder was accepted. They had planned to play games at the home of soccer club Farsley Celtic and progressively upgrade the ground, this may have been the cause of the rejection. This was rejected by the directors of the club at a public meeting. They were reformed as a supporter-owned club, Bramley Rugby League Community Club (aka Bramley Buffaloes) as an Industrial and Provident Society. Drighlington
Drighlington is a village and civil parish in the City of Leeds metropolitan district, West Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, the village lies 5 miles (9 km) south-west of Leeds and 4 miles (6 km) south-east of Bradford. The name of the village is often shortened to ''Drig''. The population of the civil parish as of the 2011 census was 5,528. Dewsbury Moor is a district of Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it lies to the west of the Dewsbury town centre. The population is around 5,650. Underbank Rangers
Underbank Rangers are a rugby league team based in Holmfirth near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. They play in the Premier Division of the National Conference League. The club also competes in the Yorkshire Men's League.Underbank are the second oldest rugby league club in the world - but the longest running rugby league club in the world (with the oldest having folded a few times) History The club was founded in 1884. Featherstone Lions are an amateur rugby league club from Featherstone, West Yorkshire who play in the National Conference League and the Yorkshire Men's League The juniors (U7 - U18) play in the Yorkshire Junior & Youth League. Peterlee Pumas
Peterlee Pumas are a rugby league team based in Peterlee, County Durham. They play in the North East Premier of the Rugby League Conference. History Peterlee Pumas was formed in association with Durham Rugby League Service Area and the Rugby League Development Program. They started training in summer of 2002 and the open age men's team played friendlies in the first year before joining the North East division of the Rugby League Conference in 2004 getting through to the North East final and gaining promotion to the new North Premier. The club achieved club mark status in 2004 and was presented with the award at half time at the Tri Nations Game between Great Britain and New Zealand.
