This is a list of the NCAA Men's Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, NCAA indoor champions in a long sprint relay event. Generally that was the Mile (4x440 yard) relay until 1983, and the 4x400 meters relay being contested thereafter. The track in 1986 and 1987 did not conform to specifications. NCAA Men's Division I Indoor Track And Field Championships
The NCAA Men's Division I Indoor Track and Field Championship is an annual collegiate indoor track and field competition for men organised by the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Athlete's individual performances earn points for their institution and the team with the most points receives the NCAA team title in track and field. A separate NCAA Division I women's competition is also held.
