NATIVE Sound System
NATIVE Sound System is a British radio show, based in London, and hosted by Sholzstilltippin, and Addy Edgal. It currently airs every Friday at 5PM, on NTS Radio. The show showcase up and coming African music talents, with the aim to document African culture. In 2020, the show relaunch on NTS Radio. On 13 December 2021, The Native launched NATIVE Sound Radio on No Signal’s radio. History NATIVE Sound System was established in 2017 by The Native. On 23 April 2021, Cloud X festival partnered with NATIVE Sound System to co-curate its line-up. In the same year, DJ Obi, and Native Sound System DJ's, entertained the audience with live DJ sets at the 4th Our Homecoming festival. On 8 April 2022, NATIVE Sound System released "Runaway" featuring Lojay & Ayra Starr. On 22 December 2021, NATIVE Sound System hosted the fifth edition of NATIVELAND, titled NATIV5 at Harbour Point Marquee, in Victoria Island, Lagos. To celebrate the fifth anniversary of The Native. Teni Zaccheaus JR. (born 27 June) better known by his stage name Teezee (stylized as TeeZee) is an English-Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record executive. He is one-third of the musical group DRB LasGidi with BOJ and Fresh L. He currently serves as the co-president of NATIVE Records, and co-founder of The NATIVE Networks (subsidiaries include: The Native, and NATIVE Records). ''The Native'' (stylized in all caps) is a Nigerian-based music magazine publishing in Lagos. Founded in 2016, ''The Native'' focuses primarily on music, style, and art, championing the sounds and culture of tomorrow: today. History ''The NATIVE'' was established in 2016 by Seni Saraki, and Teni (Teezee) Zaccheaus. Since launching, the magazine has featured Nigerian artists including Wizkid, Burna Boy, Naira Marley and fashion designer Mowalola Ogunlesi. Ayo Ayoku better known by his stage name Wani, is an American-Nigerian Alté musician. In 2018, he came into the music scene with a widely acclaimed EP ''Lagos City Vice'', with lead song "China Designer", a remake of Tekno's "Be", which became controversial in September 2019, after Sarz called him out, for his royalty, following the success of the song, reaching 1 million streams in July 2019. Ladipo Eso popularly known as Ladipoe or Poe is a Nigerian Rapper & musician. On 28 February 2017, Ladipoe signed a record deal with Mavin Records. He rose to prominence with the song "Feel Alright" where he got featured by SDC "Show Dem Camp". He also released a new single "Jaiye" in March 2019 before dropping the hit song, "Know You" featuring Nigerian Joromi singer, Simi. He is also a member of the Nigerian supergroup Collectiv3.
