Nyl River
The Nyl River ( af, Nylrivier) is a watercourse in Limpopo Province, South Africa. It flows at the head of the Mogalakwena River, being its southernmost tributary or uppermost section. It is located near Mookgophong (Naboomspruit) in the northern part of the Springbok Flats, a particular geological formation. The name of the Nyl River originated in the word for "Nile". In the 1860s, a group of pious and enthusiastic Dutch Voortrekkers known as the ''Jerusalemgangers'', saw the large flooded plain with its wide river flowing lazily northwards and were under the impression that they had arrived at the mighty ''Nylrivier'', the Nile river. They settled the place and founded a town in 1866, calling it ''Nylstroom''. Nyl Yakura
Nyl Kiyoshi Yakura (born 14 February 1993) is a Canadian badminton player. He captured two gold medals at the Pan American Games, winning the men's doubles title in 2019 and 2023, and also a silver in the mixed doubles in 2019. Yakura, who grew up in Pickering, currently lives in Toronto and trains at the KC Badminton Club in Markham. Career Yakura competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. In June 2021, Yakura was named to Canada's Olympic team. Competing in the men's doubles event with Jason Ho-Shue, his pace was stopped in the group stage. Nyls (born September 23, 1982) is a French singer and composer of Italian origin. ''Nyls'' is a pseudonym; his real name is unknown. Life and career Nyls grew up in Grenoble, France and in Lama dei Peligni, Italy. His musical career began in 2007 when he teamed up with the Italian pop duet Paola e Chiara, for which he wrote the single "Seconde Chance" in French, taken from their album "Win The Game".
