Calakmul Municipality
Calakmul is a municipality in the Mexican state of Campeche, situated in the central part of the Yucatán Peninsula. History The municipality was created on 31 December 1996, from part of the territory of Champotón Municipality, Champotón. On 19 June 1998, the Congress of Campeche, State Congress enacted legislation creating the new municipality of Candelaria Municipality, Candelaria as of 1 July of that year, and Calakmul lost 24% of its population and a portion of its territory. Pichilemu
Pichilemu (, ), originally known as Pichilemo, is a beach resort city and commune in central Chile, and capital of Cardenal Caro Province in the O'Higgins Region. The commune comprises an urban centre and twenty-two villages, including Ciruelos, Cáhuil, and Cardonal de Panilonco. It is located southwest of Santiago. Pichilemu had over 13,000 residents as of 2012. The Pichilemu area was long populated by the indigenous Promaucaes. European-Chilean development began in the mid-sixteenth century, as ''conquistador'' Pedro de Valdivia gave Juan Gómez de Almagro the Topocalma encomienda (which included the current territory of Pichilemu) in January 1541. Radio Nueva Vida (''New Life'') is a Spanish-language Christian radio network based in Camarillo, California, United States. It is owned and operated by The Association for Community Education, Inc., a California non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1987. History Radio Nueva Vida began broadcasting on January 18, 1987 after building radio station KMRO (90.3 FM) in Camarillo, California. Originally created by pianist Belkis Concepción, several teams of female vocalists and musicians have alternately performed under the name Las Chicas del Can throughout the group's history. Conriquez, Gabito Ballesteros, and Grupo Frontera.
