Nude Nuns With Big Guns
''Nude Nuns with Big Guns'' is a 2010 nunsploitation vigilante action film directed by Joseph Guzman and starring Asun Ortega, David Castro, and Perry D'Marco. The film was the subject of one of the largest copyright lawsuits in California. The two lawsuits are the first time that two different companies claiming the intellectual-property rights of the same movie are each suing the same alleged 5,865 BitTorrent downloaders. Plot A young Mexican nun, named Sister Sarah, is neglected and abused by a corrupt priest who produces and distributes heroin. After a bad drug deal, she is handed over to thugs to be used as an instrument as sex for money. On the verge of death after being heavily drugged and wounded and raped, the nun receives a commandment from God to take revenge. Acquiring heavy weapons (including big guns and vibrators), Sister Sarah sets out to kill those who had abused her and are using the church for their own personal gain. Asunción Ortega Vidal (born October 8, 1981) is a Spanish actress and model. Biography Early life and acting career Ortega is fluent in Spanish, German, and English and has acted in all three languages. She studied at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio and also with actress Patricia Velásquez. She made her film debut in 2007 in the low-budget ''Chicano Blood'', directed by Damian Chapa. Nunsploitation is a subgenre of exploitation film which had its peak in Europe in the 1970s. These films typically involve Christian nuns living in convents during the Middle Ages. Criteria The main conflict of the story is usually of a religious or sexual nature, such as religious oppression or sexual suppression due to living in celibacy. The Inquisition is another common theme. These films, although often seen as pure exploitation films, often contain criticism against religion in general and the Catholic Church in particular. Indeed, some protagonist dialogue voiced feminist consciousness and rejection of their subordinated social role.
