Robert Charlebois, OC, OQ (born June 25, 1944) is a Québecois author, composer, musician, performer and actor. Charlebois was born in Montreal, Quebec. Among his best known songs are ''Lindberg'' (the duo with Louise Forestier in particular), ''Ordinaire'', ''Les Ailes d'un Ange'' and ''Je reviendrai à Montréal''. His lyrics, often written in joual, are funny, relying upon plays on words. He won the Sopot International Song Festival in 1970. Starmania is a Canadian- French cyberpunk rock opera written in 1976 with music by Michel Berger and book and lyrics by Luc Plamondon. It debuted in 1978 with a studio recording of the songs, before premiering on stage in 1979. Several of its songs have passed into mainstream Francophone pop culture, and helped original cast members Daniel Balavoine and Diane Dufresne to rise in popularity in France; it is now considered one of the most famous rock operas in French history. Serge Fiori (born March 4, 1952) was the lead vocalist and guitarist for Harmonium, a progressive rock band from Quebec. After Harmonium broke up he pursued a solo career. Biography Serge Fiori grew up in the Little Italy district of Montreal, Canada, and made his performing debut in the ballroom orchestra of his father George Fiori. At age 18 he was working as a professional musician, and beginning to write his own material. In 1972, a friend introduced him to who was looking for someone to write the music for a play. Michel Armand Guy Pagliaro (born 9 November 1948) is a Canadian rock singer, songwriter and guitarist from Montreal, Quebec. Pagliaro was nominated for a 1975 Juno Award as male vocalist of the year. Beau Dommage was a rock band from Montreal, Quebec, who achieved success in Quebec and France in the 1970s. The group's style included rich vocal harmonies and elements borrowed from folk and country music. History Beau Dommage started in 1972 as an offshoot of the theatrical group "La Quenouille Bleue".
