Joel Turner (musician)
Joel Turner (born 3 March 1987) is an Australian beatboxer, singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and record producer best known for the Australian hit song "These Kids". As a beatboxer, he is recognised for his trademark sounds such as his "third voice", cowbell, teeth beats and bass guitar. He was the victor at the Beatbox Battle World Championship in 2005 and retained the title until 2009. Turner first appeared at the auditions for the 2003 season of ''Australian Idol'', where he drew attention for his beatbox skills. Although praised but deemed unsuitable for the competition, Turner was nevertheless voted "Most Popular of the Unforgettables" and performed at the ''2003 Idol Grand Final'' at the Sydney Opera House. "Someday, Someday" is the third single released from Australian pop rock band Thirsty Merc's debut album, ''Thirsty Merc'' (2004). The song was released on 22 November 2004 and reached number 19 on the Australian Singles Chart in January 2005. Music video The music video features Thirsty Merc frontman Rai Thistlethwayte walking into a hotel and in the hotel lift singing the song, crossing the shot to his girlfriend, the two appear to be separated, as the song's chorus suggests "Someday, someday I will be there, babe. Someday, someday I will be the one, babe". It was used for the Channel Ten series première of American show ''House''.Lyrics

Thirsty Merc are an Australian pop rock band formed in 2002 by Rai Thistlethwayte, Phil Stack (bass guitar), Karl Robertson (drums), and Matthew Baker (guitar). In 2004, Baker was replaced by Sean Carey, who was, in turn, replaced by Matt Smith (guitarist), Matt Smith in 2010. Malo Ioane Luafutu, also called Jeshua Ioane Luafutu (born on 29 May 1979), and better known by his stage name Scribe, is a New Zealand rapper of Samoans, Samoan descent.
