''Notorious'' is a 2009 American biographical drama film about the Brooklyn-based hip-hop artist Christopher "The Notorious B.I.G / Biggie Smalls" Wallace, directed by George Tillman Jr. and written by Reggie Rock Bythewood and Cheo Hodari Coker. It stars Jamal Woolard as Wallace, alongside Angela Bassett, Derek Luke, and Anthony Mackie in supporting roles. George Tillman Jr. (born January 26, 1969) is an American filmmaker. Tillman is most notable for directing the films ''Soul Food'' (1997) and ''Men of Honor'' (2000). He is also the producer of '' Soul Food: The Series'' on television and the four films in the ''Barbershop'' series: '' Barbershop'', '' Barbershop 2: Back in Business'', '' Beauty Shop'' and '' Barbershop: The Next Cut''. Truancy is any intentional, unjustified, unauthorised, or illegal absence from compulsory education.
