Waverly is a village in Lancaster County, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Lincoln, Nebraska Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 3,227 at the 2010 census. Fire Alarm
A fire alarm system warns people when smoke, fire, carbon monoxide or other fire-related or general notification emergency, emergencies are detected. These alarms may be activated automatically from smoke detectors and heat detectors or may also be activated via manual fire alarm activation devices such as manual call points or pull stations. Alarms can be either motorized bells or wall mountable sounders or horns. They can also be speaker strobes which sound an alarm, followed by a voice evacuation message which warns people inside the building not to use the elevators. System Sensor is a company headquartered in St. Charles, Illinois, dedicated to the research, development and manufacture of fire protection equipment. System Sensor is a part of the Honeywell Life Safety Group. History System Sensor was founded in 1984 to address the requirements of exclusive industry fire alarm products. One of their first products was the MASS sounder series of notification appliances, which came with System Sensor in 1984. Shortly after, in the early 1990s, System Sensor came out with MASS ADA sounders, with a horizontal strobe. In 1997, System Sensor introduced the SpectrAlert, and the MASS was discontinued shortly thereafter. A fire alarm control panel (FACP), fire alarm control unit (FACU), fire indicator panel (FIP), or simply fire alarm panel is the controlling component of a fire alarm system. The panel receives information from devices designed to detect and report fires, monitors their operational integrity and provides for automatic control of equipment, and transmission of information necessary to prepare the facility for fire based on a predetermined sequence.
