Northwestern California University School of Law is an online-based law school in Sacramento, California, founded in 1982. It is accredited by the State Bar of California, and is approved to award the Juris Doctor degree upon completion and graduation from the program. Although it is accredited by Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California, it is not accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA), as the ABA generally does not accredit online-only law schools. Mark Edward Whitacre is an American business executive who came to public attention in 1995 when, as president of the Decatur, Illinois-based BioProducts Division at Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), he became the highest-level corporate executive in U.S. history to become a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) whistleblower.
