In Arizona, a joint technological education district (JTED) is a school district that offers high school career and technical education programs to partner school districts. The concept was created in 1990, and there are 13 such districts in Arizona. Alchesay High School
Alchesay High School is a public high school on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation in Whiteriver, Arizona, Navajo County. It was founded in 1956 and named after Chief Alchesay, who was a key person in the formation of the White Mountain Apache tribe. (More than half of the students at Alchesay are White Mountain Apache.) The first graduating class graduated in 1960. It is not on its original campus site: the old "white house" school was abandoned for the old Northland Pioneer College building (now in renovations to be used as the elementary school). Blue Ridge High School is a public high school in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona. It is the only traditional high school under the jurisdiction of the Blue Ridge Unified School District. Holbrook High School is a high school in Holbrook, Arizona, United States. It is the only high school under the jurisdiction of the Holbrook Unified School District. Mogollon High School (MHS) is a public high school located in Heber, Arizona, United States. The school was established in 1989, and is the only high school under the jurisdiction of the Heber-Overgaard Unified School District. The school enrolls an estimated 135 students in grades 9– 12, and operates on a traditional school calendar. Round Valley High School is a high school serving 445 students in Eagar, Arizona, United States. It is the only high school in the Round Valley Unified School District. When Blue School District in Blue was a K-8 school, Round Valley served Blue for high school, with some students living with relatives in Eagar and some traveling to and from Eagar via school bus. The school enrolls an estimated 767 students in grades 9– 12. Show Low's mascot is a cougar and its school colors are green and gold. Prior to then, students attended Snowflake High School. As both areas grew Snowflake became overcrowded, and Show Low received its own high school. Snowflake High School is one of the oldest schools in Arizona. It was founded in the late 19th century for the education of Snowflake's youth. In 1888 the Snowflake Stake Academy was established to provide education beyond the 8th grade for all who cared to attend. It was established by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as part of its Church Educational System.
