North Zone Women's Cricket Team
The North Zone women's cricket team is a Women's cricket, women's cricket team that represents northern India in the Women's Senior Inter Zonal One Day and Women's Senior Inter Zonal T20. It is a composite team of players from five teams from northern India: Delhi women's cricket team, Delhi, Haryana women's cricket team, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh women's cricket team, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir women's cricket team, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab women's cricket team (India), Punjab. They were formed in 1974–75 to play in the Rani Jhansi Trophy, which they competed in until 2002–03, when the competition ended. Shafali Verma
Shafali Verma (born 28 January 2004) is an Indian cricketer who plays for the India women's national cricket team. In 2019, at the age of 15, she became the youngest cricketer to play in a Women's Twenty20 International match for India. In June 2021, she became the youngest player, male or female, to represent India in all three formats of international cricket. On 8 October 2022 she became the youngest cricketer to complete 1000 runs in T20 Internationals. Under her captaincy, India won the 2023 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup. List A cricket is a classification of the limited-overs (one-day) form of the sport of cricket, with games lasting up to eight hours. Chandigarh Women's Cricket Team
The Chandigarh women's cricket team is a women's cricket team that represents the Indian union territory of Chandigarh. They played their first match in 1973, and joined the Indian domestic system in 2019–20, competing in the Women's Senior One Day Trophy and the Senior Women's T20 League. History Chandigarh Women played their first recorded match in 1973, against Punjab. Harleen Kaur Deol (born 21 June 1998) is an Indian cricketer. She plays for Himachal Pradesh. She is an attacking right-hand batter who also occasionally bowls right arm leg spin. The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being watchful of the batsman and ready to take a catch, stump the batsman out and run out a batsman when occasion arises. Taniya Bhatia (born 28 November 1997) is an Indian cricketer. She is primarily a wicket-keeper. She plays for Punjab and India. She is currently trained under coach RP Singh. The International Cricket Council (ICC) named Bhatia as one of the five breakout stars in women's cricket in 2018. Early life She was born to Sapna and Sanjay Bhatia in Chandigarh. Her father works in Central Bank of India and had played cricket at the all India university level. She has an elder sister Sanjana and younger brother Sehaj. The 2022–23 Women's Senior Inter Zonal One Day was the inaugural edition of the Women's Senior Inter Zonal One Day, a domestic one day cricket competition in India. The South Zone women's cricket team is a women's cricket team that represents southern India in the Women's Senior Inter Zonal One Day and Women's Senior Inter Zonal T20. It is a composite team of players from six teams from southern India: Andhra, Goa, Hyderabad, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
