Regional Councils Of Sweden
A regional council ( sv, region) is a self-governing local authority. There are 21 regional councils (one of which is a municipality having the same responsibilities as a county council), each corresponding to a county. Regional councils are governed by a regional assembly (''regionfullmäktige'') that is elected by the regional electorate every four years in conjunction with the general elections. The most important responsibilities of regional councils are the public health care system and public transportation. It is one of the principal administrative subdivisions of Sweden. The Nuance Party ( sv, Partiet Nyans) is a political party in Sweden founded in 2019. According to national broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT), the party aims mainly at the country's Muslim population. Feminist Initiative ( sv, Feministiskt initiativ; abbreviated FI, Fi, or F!) is a feminist political party in Sweden. The party was formed in 2005 from a pressure group of the same name, and has since taken part in every election to the Riksdag and the European Parliament. Alternative for Sweden ( sv, link=no, Alternativ för Sverige, AfS) is a far right political party in Sweden. It was founded in March 2018. The party was founded by Gustav Kasselstrand and William Hahne. Alternative for Sweden was founded by members of the Sweden Democrat Youth, who were collectively expelled from the Sweden Democrats in 2015. As its primary questions, it advocates forced repatriation of one million immigrants and Swedish withdrawal from the European Union. AfS ran in the general elections of 2018 and 2022, but failed to enter the Riksdag. With 0.25% of the vote, AfS is the second largest party without representation in the Riksdag.
