Norman Powell (television Executive)
Norman Scott Powell (né Barnes; November 2, 1934 – June 16, 2021) was an American television executive. Biography Norman Scott Barnes was born November 2, 1934, in Los Angeles. The son of actress Joan Blondell and cinematographer George Barnes, he was adopted by his mother's second husband, actor Dick Powell, in February 1938 under the name Norman Scott Powell. He had a sister, Ellen, from his mother's marriage to Dick Powell, and two siblings from Dick Powell's remarriage. He was married to Ann Traub, with whom he had three children: Sandra, Scott, and Stephanie. After his divorce from Traub, he married Ellen Levine, with whom he had a son, Matthew. Gary Alan Sinise (; born March 17, 1955) is an American actor, humanitarian, and musician. Among other awards, he has won a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Tony Award, and four Screen Actors Guild Awards. He has also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and was nominated for an Academy Award. Sinise has also received numerous awards and honors for his extensive humanitarian work and involvement with charitable organizations. He is a supporter of various veterans' organizations and founded the Lt. Dan Band (named after his character in ''Forrest Gump''), which plays at military bases around the world. Find a Grave is a website that allows the public to search and add to an online database of cemetery records. It is owned by Ancestry.com. Its stated mission is "to help people from all over the world work together to find, record and present final disposition information as a virtual cemetery experience." Volunteers can create memorials, upload photos of grave markers or deceased persons, transcribe photos of headstones, and more. , the site claimed more than 210 million memorials. Joan Blondell
Joan Blondell (born Rose Joan Bluestein; August 30, 1906 – December 25, 1979) was an American actress who performed in film and television for 50 years. Blondell began her career in vaudeville. After winning a beauty pageant, she embarked on a film career, establishing herself as a Pre-Code staple of Warner Bros. Pictures in wisecracking, sexy roles, appearing in more than 100 films and television productions. She was most active in film during the 1930s and early 1940s, and during that time co-starred with Glenda Farrell, a colleague and close friend, in nine films. Blondell continued acting on film and television for the rest of her life, often in small, supporting roles.
