A noisemaker is something intended to make a loud noise in music, noise, usually for fun. Siren (noisemaker)
A siren is a loud noise-making device. Civil defense sirens are mounted in fixed locations and used to warn of natural disasters or attacks. Sirens are used on emergency service vehicles such as ambulances, police cars, and fire engines. There are two general types: mechanical and electronic. Many fire sirens (used for calling the volunteer fire fighters) serve double duty as tornado or civil defense sirens, alerting an entire community of impending danger. Most fire sirens are either mounted on the roof of a fire station or on a pole next to the fire station. Rhythm Band

Firecracker
A firecracker (cracker, noise maker, banger) is a small explosive device primarily designed to produce a large amount of noise, especially in the form of a loud bang, usually for celebration or entertainment; any visual effect is incidental to this goal. Whirly Tube
The whirly tube, corrugaphone, or bloogle resonator, also sold as Free-Ka in the 1960s-1970s, is an experimental musical instrument which consists of a corrugated (ribbed) plastic tube or hose (hollow flexible cylinder), open at both ends and possibly wider at one end (bell), the thinner of which is rotated in a circle to play. It may be a few feet long and about a few inches wide. The faster the toy is swung, the higher the pitch of the note it produces, and it produces discrete notes roughly belonging to the harmonic series, like a valveless brass instrument generates different modes of vibration. However, the first and the second modes, corresponding to the fundamental and the second harmonics , are reported as being difficult to excite. Moo Box
The moo box is a toy or a souvenir. When turned upside down, it produces a noise that resembles the mooing of a cow. The toy can be configured to create other animal sounds such as the meowing of a cat, the sound of a bird, or the bleat of a sheep. Construction The moo box consists of a block and a bellows. The bellows is sealed to the bottom of the box and to the block. The block is heavy and perforated, and used to actuate the bellows, producing the sound. When the box is inverted, the block falls away from the bottom, filling the bellows with air. When the box is turned right side up, the air is expelled through a vibrating blade (which makes it a free reed instrument) producing the sound. Groan Tube
A Groan Tube is a toy, which when turned on one end, makes a distinct 'groan' sound. This is due to a noise maker in the tube, that when it falls, vibrates in the air making the noise. The groan tube was invented in the early 1960s by Japanese toy manufacturer Kureo. The toy was first sold as 'Magic Noise Tube" (魔法音管). Mattel was the first company to sell the product in the United States in 1973. The Jibba Jabber toy, made by Ertl, produced a similar sound. Couesnophone
The couesnophone, also known as the goofus or queenophone, is a free-reed musical instrument resembling a saxophone harmonicor. The recorder is a family of woodwind musical instruments in the group known as ''internal duct flutes'': flutes with a whistle mouthpiece, also known as fipple flutes. The vuvuzela is a horn, with an inexpensive injection-molded plastic shell about long, which produces a loud monotone note, typically around B♭ 3 (the first B♭ below middle C). Some models are made in two parts to facilitate storage, and this design also allows pitch variation. Many types of vuvuzela, made by several manufacturers, may produce various intensity and frequency outputs. The intensity of these outputs depends on the blowing technique and pressure exerted. Rapach
A ratchet or rattle, more specifically, cog rattle is a musical instrument of the percussion family and a warning/signaling device. It operates on the principle of the ratchet device, using a gearwheel and a stiff board mounted on a handle, which rotates freely. Variants include the gragger ( yi, גראַגער) used in Judaism, the rapach, and the raganella. Method of playing The player holds the handle and swings the whole mechanism around. The momentum makes the board click against the gearwheel, producing a clicking and rattling noise.
