"Noi vogliam Dio, Vergin Maria" is a Marian hymn from the Italian folk tradition. It is a translation of the French hymn "Nous voulons Dieu", written and composed for a pilgrimage to Lourdes on 11 September 1882 by François-Xavier Moreau, parish priest of Sorigny. Lourdes
Lourdes (, also , ; oc, Lorda ) is a market town situated in the Pyrenees. It is part of the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitanie region in southwestern France. Sorigny () is a French commune in the Indre-et-Loire department, Centre-Val de Loire. Sorigny has been twinned with the village of Box, in Wiltshire, Great Britain, since 2016.
