"No One Knows" is a song by American rock band Queens of the Stone Age written by band members Josh Homme and Mark Lanegan. It was the first single and second track from their third album, ''Songs for the Deaf'', and was released on November 26, 2002. "No One Knows" was a chart success, becoming the band's first single to chart on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and their only single to top the US Alternative charts. The song was also critically acclaimed, receiving a nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance at the 2003 Grammy Awards. ''No One Knows'' is an extended play (EP) by Hong Kong actress and singer Stephy Tang (鄧麗欣, 邓丽欣), released on July 16, 2010 by Gold Typhoon. The title song was released as the first single and MV; it is the first of four tracks and was written by Roxanne Seeman, Kine Ludvigsen-Fossheim, and Olav Fossheim, with Cantonese lyrics by Yan Kin Keung. Tang sings all four tracks in Cantonese. Concept and style The concept behind the album was to create a new image for Stephy Tang, former member of the Cantopop group Cookies, transforming Tang into a sexy dance queen. This included image guidance, line dance, costumes and songs. Tang's dance style was influenced by Kelly Chen. Dexter Freebish
Dexter Freebish is a band based in Austin, Texas, consisting of Robert Kyle (lead singer), Scott Romig (guitarist), Chris Lowe (bassist/backing vocalist), Charles Martin (additional guitarist), and Rob Schilz (drummer). They are perhaps best known for the 2000 single "Leaving Town," which peaked at number 11 on the ''Billboard'' Bubbling Under Hot 100. They have released five albums and one extended play, with their most recent release being the October 19, 2010 LP ''Shine On''. History The band was originally named "The Twigs" while starting out in Austin, TX playing a residency at Hondo's on 6th Street. They later changed it to Dexter Freebish.
