''No More Looking over My Shoulder'' is American country music artist Travis Tritt's sixth studio album, released on October 13, 1998. It was the last album to be released by Warner Bros. Records before leaving for Columbia Records in 2000. Three singles were released from this album, in order of release they were: "If I Lost You", the title track, and "Start The Car", although the latter became the first single of his career to miss Top 40 on the country charts. Content The album's title track was co-written by Michael Peterson, who also recorded it on his 2004 album ''Modern Man''. Peterson contributes a backing vocal to Tritt's version. Critical reception Michael Gallucci of AllMusic criticized Tritt's Southern rock influences by saying that it made the album sound "conspicuously way out of time." James Travis Tritt (born February 9, 1963) is an American country music singer and songwriter. He signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1989, releasing seven studio albums and a greatest hits package for the label between then and 1999. In the 2000s, he released three studio albums on Columbia Records and one for the now-defunct Category 5 Records. Leslie Christopher Taylor (born December 27, 1948, in Oneida, Kentucky, United States) is an American country music artist. Taylor has released two studio albums on Epic Records. His highest charting single, "I Gotta Mind to Go Crazy," peaked at No. 44 in 1991. In 1980, Taylor became the contributing lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of country-pop band Exile. Rebekka Ruth Lazone Bramlett (born April 19, 1968) is an American singer and session background singer. She is the daughter of Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett, of the music duo Delaney & Bonnie. An acoustic guitar is a musical instrument in the string family. When a string is plucked its vibration is transmitted from the bridge, resonating throughout the top of the guitar. It is also transmitted to the side and back of the instrument, resonating through the air in the body, and producing sound from the sound hole. Richard Bennett (born July 22, 1951) is an American guitarist and record producer. As a touring sideman, he performed with Neil Diamond for seventeen years and Mark Knopfler since 1994. As a session musician, he has worked with Billy Joel, Barbra Streisand, Rodney Crowell, and Vince Gill. He has produced albums for Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Marty Stuart, and Kim Richey. Eddie Bayers (born January 28, 1949) is an American session drummer who has played on 300 gold and platinum albums. Gary Baker (born August 8, 1952, in Niagara Falls, New York) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Career In the late 1970s, Baker was a musician with the LeBlanc and Carr Band. Baker was also a singer musician with the country-pop band, The Shooters. He has written songs for John Michael Montgomery, Alabama and others. Baker has been writing with his songwriting partner, Frank J. Myers since 1988, both having played in Marie Osmond's band.
