No Doubt Discography
American rock band No Doubt has released six studio albums, five compilation albums, three video albums, 22 singles, five promotional singles, and 21 music videos. The band was formed in Anaheim, California in 1986. After many line-up changes, it released its self-titled debut album in 1992, but its ska-pop sound was overshadowed by the popularity of the grunge movement. Following the self-released '' The Beacon Street Collection'', '' Tragic Kingdom'' was released in 1995 and rode the surge of ska punk to become one of the best-selling albums, largely due to the international success of its third single "Don't Speak". No Doubt's follow-up, '' Return of Saturn'', was released nearly five years later and was quickly certified Platinum in the US, but failed to match the success of ''Tragic Kingdom''. No Doubt
No Doubt is an American rock band from Anaheim, California, formed in 1986. For most of their career, the band has consisted of vocalist Gwen Stefani, guitarist Tom Dumont, bassist Tony Kanal, and drummer Adrian Young. Since the mid-1990s, they were supported by trombonist and keyboardist Gabrial McNair and trumpeter and keyboardist Stephen Bradley in live performances. Though their 1992 eponymous debut album failed to make an impact, its ska punk–inspired follow-up ''The Beacon Street Collection'' sold over 100,000 copies in 1995, over triple that of its predecessor. "Don't Speak" is a song by American rock band No Doubt from their third studio album, ''Tragic Kingdom'' (1995). It was released as the third single from ''Tragic Kingdom'' in the United States on April 15, 1996, by Interscope Records. Lead singer Gwen Stefani and her brother Eric Stefani, former No Doubt member, wrote the song originally as a love song. The song went through several rewrites and new versions. The album serves as a comeback album for the band, as their last album, ''Rock Steady'', was released 11 years prior. "Bathwater" is a ska punk song written by Tom Dumont, Tony Kanal, and Gwen Stefani for No Doubt's fourth studio album ''Return of Saturn'' (2000). It was released as the album's fourth and final single on November 14, 2000. Background and writing The song was written in only ten minutes, opening with slow New Orleans jazz funeral, funeral brass and Adrian Young as a human beat-box. Invincible Overlord is a side-project Band (music), band by Tom Dumont (No Doubt) and Ted Matson. The duo was formed after No Doubt's vocalist, Gwen Stefani, decided to pursue a solo career, and the other members began starting families. Invincible Overlord's only album, ''The Living Album'', is available as a free download on the band's website . The album's first five tracks were released in May 2005: "Through the Years", "Powercell", "My Light Is as Bright as the Sun", "Maryland", and "Behind the Mountains". Two new songs were added in January 2006 and August 2007, "You Are Alone" and "Everything Will Be Fine", respectively. As stated on the website, more pieces will be added as they are completed. Thomas Martin Dumont (born January 11, 1968) is an American guitarist and producer. Dumont is a member of third wave ska band No Doubt, and during the band's hiatus, he began Invincible Overlord as a side project and produced Matt Costa's ''Songs We Sing''. Raggamuffin music, usually abbreviated as ragga, is a subgenre of dancehall and reggae music. The instrumentals primarily consist of electronic music. Similar to hip hop, sampling often serves a prominent role in raggamuffin music.
