Ninjas in Pyjamas (often abbreviated to NIP and NiP) is a professional esports organisation based in Sweden that is best known for its '' Counter-Strike'' teams. In 2012, the team reformed with a '' Counter Strike: Global Offensive'' lineup upon the release of the game. Aside from ''Counter-Strike'', the organisation has teams in ''Valorant'', '' Rainbow Six Siege'', ''FIFA'', ''Rocket League'', '' Fortnite Battle Royale'' and ''League of Legends''. They formerly had teams in ''Overwatch'', '' PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds'' and '' Paladins''. History Ninjas in Pyjamas were formed in June 2000. Their biggest success was winning the 2001 Cyberathlete Professional League World Championships after an extremely close final with X3 (a forerunner to Team 3D). Nickel

The International 2015
The International 2015 (TI5) was the fifth edition of The International, an annual ''Dota 2'' esports championship tournament, which took place at the KeyArena in Seattle. Hosted by Valve, the game's developer, the tournament began in May with the qualifier phase and ended after the main event in August. The tournament awarded one of the biggest prize pools in esports tournament history, at over 18 million, with the winning team, Evil Geniuses, being awarded over $6 million. Emil Christensen
Emil Pathric William Christensen, also known as HeatoN, (born 14 June 1984) is a Swedish esports manager and former professional ''Counter-Strike'' player, who played as captain of the gaming team Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP). HeatoN was the manager of NiP up until October 2018 when he decided to part ways with the organisation to focus on his own brand. He is widely considered one of the best ''Counter-Strike'' players of all time. Playing career The name HeatoN comes from a brand of equipment, which is now owned by CCM (ice hockey), CCM, he used when he played ice hockey. Emil's first hobby was ice hockey, but he retired because of an injury. A friend (CS player fRa1L, from RevolutioN) told him to try Counter-Strike. The Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) was a professional sports tournament organization specializing in computer and console video game competitions. It was established by Angel Munoz on June 27, 1997, hosting biannual tournaments in hotels.
