Nikita Leonidovich Novitskii (russian: Никита Леонидович Новицкий; born 24 August 2000) is a Russian freestyle skier. He competed in the 2022 Winter Olympics. Career Novitskii won a gold medal at the 2019 Junior World Championships in the moguls event. He placed fourth in moguls in the 2021 World Championships 1 (one, unit, unity) is a number representing a single or the only entity. 1 is also a numerical digit and represents a single unit of counting or measurement. Ust-Ilimsk ( rus, Усть-Илимск, p=usʲtʲ ɪˈlʲimsk) is a town in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Angara River. Population: 53,000 (1977). History An '' ostrog'' (fortress) was built on the present site of the town in the 17th century; however, the modern town was not founded until 1966, during the construction of the Ust-Ilimsk Hydroelectric Power Station, which backs up both the Angara and the Ilim Rivers, and, incidentally, flooded the old town of Ilimsk, which was located further up the Ilim. Freestyle Skiing At The 2022 Winter Olympics – Men's Moguls
The men's moguls competition in freestyle skiing at the 2022 Winter Olympics were held on 3 February (qualification) and 5 February (final), at the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou. Walter Wallberg of Sweden won the event. Mikaël Kingsbury of Canada became the silver medalist, and Ikuma Horishima from Japan took the bronze. For Wallberg and Horishima this is the first Olympic medal. The defending champion was Mikaël Kingsbury. The 2018 silver medalist, Matt Graham and the bronze medalist, Daichi Hara, qualified for the Olympics as well. At the 2021–22 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup, Kingsbury led the ranking before the Olympics, closely followed by Ikuma Horishima.
