Nijmegen Dukenburg is a railway station located in the south west of Nijmegen, Netherlands. The station was opened on 2 June 1973 and is located on the Tilburg–Nijmegen railway. The train services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen. The main station of Nijmegen is Nijmegen railway station. Uden
Uden () is a town and former municipality in the province of North Brabant, Netherlands. Since 2022 it has been part of the new municipality of Maashorst. History Uden was first recorded around 1190 as "Uthen". However, earlier settlements have been found in the areas of the modern day Moleneind, Vorstenburg and Bitswijk and evidence of Ice Age settlements has been found near the hamlet of Slabroek. From 1324 Uden was ruled by the Valkenburg house and became a part of the . After 1397 it became a part of the German duchy of Cleves. Uden was hardly affected by the Eighty Years' War and gained religious freedom in 1631. Zeeland is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the former municipality of Landerd, about 5 km northeast of Uden. History The village was first mentioned in 1376 as Zeelant, and refers to Terra Salica, an inheritance system which excluded women. Zeeland developed in the Middle Ages on the edge of the Peel region. The Catholic St Jacobus de Meerdere Church was built between 1871 and 1872 as a replacement for its medieval predecessor. Zeeland was home to 467 people in 1840. Zeeland was a separate municipality until 1994, when it became part of Landerd. Reek is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the former municipality of Landerd, about 3 km east of Schaijk. History Reek developed as a stretched out village in the Middle Ages. It used to be part of the which became a Catholic enclave of Palatinate-Neuburg within the Dutch Republic in 1631. The land van Ravenstein was conquered by France in 1794, and sold to the Batavian Republic (the predecessor of the Kingdom of the Netherlands) in 1800. The former nunnery St Elisabeth was founded in 1857 by the Sister Penitenten from Haaren. The St Anthonius Abt Church was built in 1925 and 1926 and has the tower in the corner. It replaced an 1823 church. The grist mill Hellemolen was built in 1832. In 1948, it was put up for sale and the interior and part of the exterior were sold. Nederasselt
Nederasselt is a village in the municipality of Heumen in the province of Gelderland, the Netherlands. History The village was first mentioned in 1301 as Nederassel, and means "lower open forest with ash ('' Fraxinus excelsior'') trees". Neder (lower) has been added to distinguish between Overasselt. Nederasselt separated from Overasselt in the 12th century and developed on a ridge. The Dutch Reformed church is a small square church built in 1804. In 1930, a consistory and tower were added.
