Nigerian Academy Of Engineering
Nigerian Academy of Engineering was founded in 1997 by concerned professional Nigerian engineers, with the aim to promote engineering training and practice in Nigeria as an effort to improve the technological growth of Nigeria as a developing country in West-Africa. The Academy was described as a ''Think Tank'' for Engineering and Technology in Nigeria with focus on researches and studies across the field of engineering. Nicholas Agiobi Damachi, OON (Born 16 March 1953, Obudu, Cross River State, Nigeria) is a Nigerian professor of Industrial engineering and former Permanent Secretary of the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Education. He is currently the incumbent Permanent Secretary of the Nigerian Ministry of Defence. Salihu Mustafa, FNSE, FAENG, FNAHS, FAS, (born 1948) is a Nigerian academic, professor of civil engineering and former Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Technology Yola (FUTY), Yola, Adamawa State, Nigeria. Samuel Olatunde Fadahunsi
Samuel Olatunde Fadahunsi (17 March 1920 – 12 August 2014) was a Nigerian civil engineer and former President of COREN, an engineering regulation body in Nigeria. Life and career He was born on 17 March 1920 in Osun State, southwestern Nigeria. He was educated at Saint John School, Iloro, Ilesha, Osun State (1927-1936). He also attended Government College, Ibadan (1937-1942). In 1948, he received a scholarship that earned him a bachelor's degree in Civil engineering at the Battersea Polytechnic in London. Rahmon Ade bello (born October 1948) is a Nigerian professor of Chemical Engineering, educational administrator and former vice chancellor of the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Early life and education Rahmon was born in October 1948 in Ogun State, southwestern Nigeria. He was educated at Egbado College in Ilaro, a town in Ogun State. Ogbonnaya Onu (born 1 December 1951) is a Nigerian politician, author and engineer. He was the first civilian governor of Abia State and was minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Nigeria from November 2015 till his resignation in 2022.
