Nigeria Football Federation
The Nigeria Football Federation (known as Nigeria Football Association until 2008) is Nigeria's football governing body. It was formally launched in 1945 and formed the first Nigerian national football team in 1949. It joined CAF in 1959 and FIFA in 1960. The NFF headquarters is located in the city of Abuja. As of 2008 it organises three leagues: The Nigerian Premier League, the Amateur League and the Women's League, and five competitions, including the Federation Cup and Women's Cup. 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup
The 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was the ninth edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, the premier international beach soccer championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. Overall, this was the 19th edition of a world cup in beach soccer since the establishment of the ''Beach Soccer World Championships'' which ran from 1995 to 2004 but was not governed by FIFA. This was the fourth tournament to take place under the biennial basis; the World Cup now takes place once every two years, after taking place on a yearly basis until 2009. The 2011 CAF Beach Soccer Championship were the qualifiers for African national beach soccer teams to determine the two teams that qualify for the 2011 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. The 2018 Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations was the third edition of the Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations (BSAFCON), the premier beach soccer championship in Africa contested by men's national teams who are members of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). 2015 CAF Beach Soccer Championship
The 2015 CAF Beach Soccer Championship, also known as the 2015 Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations, was a beach soccer tournament which took place in Roche Caiman, Seychelles on 14–19 April 2015. This was the first time that the CAF Beach Soccer Championship was held in Seychelles. All matches were played at the Roche Caiman Sports Complex. As well as crowning the best beach soccer nation in Africa, the tournament served as the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup qualifier for teams from Africa which are members of CAF, where the top two teams qualified for the 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Portugal. 2013 CAF Beach Soccer Championship
The 2013 CAF Beach Soccer Championship took place from 22 May to 26 May 2013, in El Jadida, Morocco, for the first time. It is the second time in Morocco, following Casablanca hosting the previous qualification tournament in 2011. It was originally scheduled for 10–14 April and then for 29 May - 2 June 2013.
