Nick Morris
Nick Morris is a British film maker better known for directing music videos in the 1980's. Career Nick Morris began writing and making amateur films at school, one of which was shown at the NFT. His professional career began in the 1980s with music videos for " The Final Countdown" by Europe, "Kyrie" by Mr. Mister and "Everytime You Go Away" by Paul Young. After making approximately 100 promos for artists such as Elton John, Celine Dion, Alison Moyet, Warrant, Terence Trent D'Arby, Stevie Wonder, Paul Carrack, Prefab Sprout, Kirsty MacColl, Go West, the Kane Gang, The Alarm, Status Quo, Toto, Natalie Cole, Nena, Scorpions and the number one charity single Ferry Aid, he moved into longer form projects including the Cirque du Soleil show '' Alegría'', which was nominated for a primetime Emmy, ''Jesus Christ Superstar'', which won an International Emmy, and AC/DC's '' Stiff Upper Lip Live'' in Munich. Nick Morris (basketball)
Nicholas Hugh "Nick" Morris, OAM (born 16 August 1971) is an Australian wheelchair basketball player. He was born in the Victorian town of Wangaratta. He was a member of the Australian team that won gold at the 1996 Summer Paralympics in Atlanta, for which he received a Medal of the Order of Australia. He was also a member of the Australian wheelchair basketball squad at the 2000 Summer Paralympics. Morris was injured in a motorcycle accident at age 16 and credits his involvement in sport as the key to his rehabilitation. Morris received an Australian Sports Medal in 2000 for his many years service to the Paralympic movement as a Basketball athlete. In his professional capacity, Morris sat on the Australian Standards Committee for Access provisions (AS1428) and is a director of Morris Goding Accessibility Consulting. Nicolas Morice (born 1774) was a French navy officer. He was born Lorient. Career Morice became an ensign in 1796 and rose to Lieutenant in 1803. Nicholas Craig Morris (born 7 June 1994) is an Australian speedway rider. Career Born in Canberra, Morris was successful as a youngster in youth racing in Australia before making the move into British racing in 2010 with Buxton Hitmen in the National League, the team going on to be crowned champions. It was the only season that Morris would race in the National League, making the step up to the Premier League and the Elite League in 2011. He won titles with Glasgow Tigers and Scunthorpe Scorpions in the Premier League, and with the Swindon Robins in the Elite League.
