Nicholas is a male given name and a surname. The Eastern Orthodox Church, the Roman Catholic Church, and the Anglicanism, Anglican Churches celebrate Saint Nicholas every year on December 6, which is the name day for "Nicholas". ''Nicholas'' is a 1958 Brazilian telenovela adapted from A. J. Cronin's 1950 novel, '' The Spanish Gardener''. The series was directed by Julio Gouveia, the head of The Theatre School of São Paulo. It starred Ricardinho as Nicholas, and Roberto de Cleto as the gardener. The British film adaptation was released in 1956, and TV Tupi broadcast another Brazilian adaptation of Cronin's novel in 1967. Nicholas Teo () is a Malaysian Chinese singer under Good Tengz Entertainment Sdn Bhd. (Malaysia) Career Pre debut Before returning to Malaysia, Nicholas was studying in Taiwan, where he won the Best Singer in a competition among all the Taiwan universities. Thereafter, he was approached and asked if he would sign up with a company as a back-up singer (backing vocalist, to harmonise with the lead vocalist), which Nicholas subsequently ignored. He returned to Malaysia without finishing his studies and participated in the singing competition "2002 Astro Talent Quest". Nicholas won first place with the song 黃昏(Huáng Hūn), originally sung by Zhou Chuan Xiong. This led to Nicholas signing a contract in Taiwan with Music Street in 2003. Nicholas are an American traditional black gospel music husband and wife duo from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Los Angeles, California, and they started their music recording careers in 1981, as a quartet, with the release of ''Tell the World'' with Message Records, yet this failed to chart. They released, ''Words Can't Express'', in 1983 with Message Records, which would be their last album released by them, and this was their ''Billboard'' magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums chart. Their other albums were released by Command Records, starting in 1985, with the release of ''Dedicated'', and this charted #1 on the aforementioned chart. The duo released nine more albums with four of those placing upon the Gospel Albums chart, 1987's ''A Love Like This'', 1989's ''Live in Memphis'', 1990's ''More than Music'', and 1992's ''Back to Basics''. Mount Nicholas
Mount Nicholas is a 1,465-m mountain, standing 5.5 nautical miles (10 km) south-southwest of Cape Brown, and forming the northern limit of the Douglas Range on the east side of Alexander Island, Antarctica. First seen and roughly charted from a distance in 1909 by the French Antarctic Expedition under Charcot, who named it ''Ile Nicolas II'' after Nicholas II, then reigning tsar of Russia. The French Antarctic Expedition maps showed it as an island, or possible headland, separated by a channel from Alexander Island. The coast in this vicinity was photographed from the air in 1937 by the British Graham Land Expedition (BGLE), but Charcot's name was altered by Rymill to "Cape Nicholas" and was applied in error to the seaward bulge of Mount Calais, about 13 nautical miles (24 km) to the north-northwest.
