"Nice Weather for Ducks" is a song recorded by British electronic band Lemon Jelly, released on 20 January 2003 from their second studio album '' Lost Horizons'' (2002). The song spent three weeks on the UK chart, peaking at number 16. The track is primarily built around a sample of John Langstaff's ''All the Ducks'', which is an English translation of the traditional Dutch children's song ''Alle Eendjes Zwemmen in het Water''. Lemon Jelly were unable to clear the rights for the use of Langstaff's voice and instead the vocals are performed by Scottish actor Enn Reitel. ''Lost Horizons'' is the second studio album from the British electronic duo Lemon Jelly, released on 7 October 2002. Released by XL Recordings and produced by Nick Franglen, the album generated two charting singles in the UK, "Space Walk" and "Nice Weather for Ducks"; the latter has often been called the album's stand-out track. Nick Franglen
Nick Franglen (born 1965 in Westminster, London) is a British musician, record producer and installation artist. He is best known as a founding member of the electronic music duo Lemon Jelly. Music composition and production A classically trained musician and multi-instrumentalist, during the 1990s Franglen played keyboards, electronic instruments and drum programming on studio recordings with Björk, Primal Scream, Hole, Pulp and Blur, amongst others. As well as co-writing all of Lemon Jelly's music, he produced their first self-released recordings in 1997, and went on to produce all three Lemon Jelly albums released on XL Recordings. Enn Reitel (born 21 June 1950) is a Scottish actor who specialises in voice work in video games, movies and TV shows. Early life Reitel's family arrived in Scotland as refugees from Estonia and Germany. He trained as an actor at the Central School of Speech and Drama. "Soft/Rock" is the debut single released by Lemon Jelly on 21 June 2001. The 7" single was released in two formats; the first was limited to 1,000 copies and released on blue vinyl, each coming in its own hand-stitched denim sleeve with a flavoured condom, the second was also limited to 1,000 copies but released on black vinyl in a black sleeve with a sticker. The first twelve or so (exact numbers unknown) of the blue vinyl edition were different in design from the others, featuring enhanced embroidery and a business card from the award-winning embroidery artist, Laura Lees. These extremely rare singles were very time-consuming to fabricate, so the design was simplified for the remainder of the format. Therefore, the first twelve are highly sought after and occasionally change hands on eBay for several hundred pounds. "If You Leave Me Now" is a song by the American rock group Chicago, from their album '' Chicago X''. It was written and sung by bass player Peter Cetera and released as a single on July 30, 1976. It is also the title of a Chicago compilation album released by Columbia Records (Columbia 38590) in 1983. The single topped the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 on October 23, 1976, and stayed there for two weeks, making it the first number one hit for the group as well as hitting number one on the Easy Listening charts.
