Nguyễn Quang Hải (born 12 April 1997) is a Vietnamese professional Association football, footballer who plays as an Midfielder (association football)#Attacking midfielder, attacking midfielder or Forward (association football)#Winger, winger, who last played for Ligue 2 club Pau FC, Pau and the Vietnam national football team, Vietnam national team. In Best Footballer in Asia 2018, 2018 and Best Footballer in Asia 2019, 2019, he was nominated by a panel of sports journalists and football experts for the Best Footballer in Asia award. Quang Hải, who was born in Đông Anh, joined Hanoi FC, Hanoi's youth academy at the age of 9. By 2013, he played in the under-19 league at the age of 16. Pau Football Club (, Bearnese ), known simply as Pau, is a French professional association football club based in Pau, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, capital of Béarn. They compete in Ligue 2, the second tier of French football. Pau FC were founded in 1920 as Bleuets de Notre-Dame de Pau, although their official founding date is in 1959, when Football Club de Pau were first formed. The 2022 AFF Championship (officially AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 due to sponsorship reasons) was the 14th edition of the AFF Championship, the football championship of nations affiliated to the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) and was the 1st edition under the name AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup. The final tournament ran from 20 December 2022 to 16 January 2023.
