Route 201 (known as the Osprey Trail) is a provincial road in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is one of only three loop roads designated with a route number that starts and ends at the Trans-Canada Highway ( Route 351, Norris Arm Road, and Route 404, Robinsons Road, are the others). The road spans , and allows for a scenic journey along the southern coast of Trinity Bay. There are quite a number of summer cottages along the route, and highway is known for an abundance of ospreys during the summer months. The image of the osprey used in the logo on the Osprey Trail signage is believed to have been taken from the back of the 1989 issue of Canada’s ten-dollar bill. The Canadian ten-dollar note is one of the most common banknotes of the Canadian dollar. The current $10 note is purple, and the obverse features a portrait of Viola Desmond, a Black Nova Scotian businesswoman who challenged racial segregation at a film theatre in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, in 1946. The background of the portrait is a colourful rendition of the street grid of Halifax, Nova Scotia, including the waterfront, Citadel and Gottingen Street, where Desmond's Studio of Beauty Culture was located. The osprey (''Pandion haliaetus''), , also called sea hawk, river hawk, and fish hawk, is a diurnal, fish-eating bird of prey with a cosmopolitan range. It is a large raptor reaching more than in length and across the wings. It is brown on the upperparts and predominantly greyish on the head and underparts. The osprey tolerates a wide variety of habitats, nesting in any location near a body of water providing an adequate food supply. It is found on all continents except Antarctica, although in South America it occurs only as a non-breeding migrant. As its other common names suggest, the osprey's diet consists almost exclusively of fish. It possesses specialised physical characteristics and exhibits unique behaviour to assist in hunting and catching prey. Chapel Arm is a settlement in Newfoundland, Canada, located at the southeast corner of Trinity Bay, approximately west of St. John's and two km (one and a half miles) from the Trans-Canada Highway.
